Shown above is the basic design I used to make several sets. An approximation of the actual plans is also shown above. The bags should be comprised of whole corn kernels, about 1 1b. each, in a cloth bag approximately 6" square (or slightly less). This design is fixed, and unlike poor poker hands cannot be folded. It is the "non-spacesaving" version. However, they are also simple to build. I have handy plans for making your own such game set (either 1 or 2 sets of games, from 1 or 2 sheets of 4x8 plywood, respectively). Use standard exterior grade deck screws (2") to assemble. Price is $1.49 per set of plans (see below for ordering instructions). Get both the standard and folding version for $2.49!
Please Note: while there are free plans generally available elsewhere, the plans marketed here are very detailed with complete assembly guidelines. The basic design of a Cornhole set is really fairly simple to build. However, if you're like me and prefer to have a proven set of plans with parts, etc., listed, as well as a concise discussion regarding assembly, finishing, etc., you may be interested in purchasing one of the plans listed below.
Also: These plans include the dimensions approved by the American Cornhole Association (ACA) (including 4" front, 12" back, full sides). Full sides are specified in the regulations, in order to ensure that bags don't happen to bounce under the deck from the side, or out through the back when "swished" through the hole, thus confusing the scoring at the end of each round of play.

Essentially, the design incorporates 2 legs that swivel down, with a brace that keeps corn bags from exiting out the rear of the goal. The plans for this project itemize all required wood and hardware, including bolts, screws, etc. Unlike many folding versions on the market, these sets are reinforced to minimize "corn bag bounce" that causes inaccurate tosses and related frustration with more flimsy designs. When folded down, both sets stacked are just under 9" high, 2 ft. wide, and 4 ft. long, versus more than 16" high (stacked) for the non-folding design.

Finished sets are made to order. COST INCLUDING BAGS IS $209 (WITHOUT BAGS $189) plus applicable Ohio Sales Tax of 6.5%. Typical finishes include, stain/natural wood, multi-colored painting, or 1-4 color vinyl for specific designs (sports logos, university and/or department logos, company logos, etc.). Lead time to pickup depends on complexity of design; typically two (2) weeks. Epoxy finish requires 2 days before pickup.
